Yonkers City Council President Chuck Lesnick opens the first hour of the Westchester On the Level with Narog and Aris radio program on Wednesday, May 2nd, 2012, by discussing the process the City Council is presently undertaking in the study of Mayor Mike Spano’s FY2012-2013 Proposed Budget. We will review what has been scrutinized so far, what the process is meant to achieve, and President Lesnick’s role in seeing the process to its end conclusion, that is, an approved budget or a demand for revision by the June 1st, 2012 deadline.

On Thursday, April 26th, we open the 10 a.m. hour with investigative reporter Nancy King for The Westchester Guardian and Randolph McLaughlin, Esq., legal counsel representing the family of the now deceased U.S. Marine Kenneth Chamberlain, Sr, who was taunted by racial epithets by one White Plains Police Officer (Steven Hart) and thereafter shot to death by another White Plains Police Officer (Anthony Carelli). Discovery of Mr Chamberlain’s being verbally demeaned by Police Officer Hart is clearly heard in a recording memorialized on a Life Alert device. The report of this finding was written by Nancy King, with additional reporting by Hezi Aris. The audio discovery was given prominent mention in the April 26th edition of The Westchester Guardian that was posted online at both the Yonkers Tribune and The Westchester Guardian on Sunday, April 22, 2012. Hezi Aris will conduct the interview.

On Monday, April 23rd, accomplished author Caleb Pirtle III shares the wealth of his writing resume and experiences with us.
Caleb Pirtle III is the author of more than fifty-five books. He is a graduate of The University of Texas in Austin with a bachelor's degree in journalism. He served as sports editor for The Daily Texan and became the first student at the university to win the National William Randolph Hearst Award for feature writing.

On Friday, April 20th, Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano will speak to the crisis he contends with as the new Mayor of the City of Yonkers and the process he must undergo in shepherding his proposed FY2012-2013 Prosposed Budget toward approval by June 1, 2012. Mayor Spano will open the show at 10:00 amd and will need to depart at 10:40 for another commitment that begins at 11:00 am
Hezi Aris will conduct the interview today.
The balance of the show will be spent discuss other pertinent news. Leon Sculti, initially scheduled for the 11 am hour to discuss the goings on in Rye, New York, has been called away from the interview. We expect to have him on the air at another time.
