Farrelly_Gail Sunday, 29 August 2010

He's movin' on out of NYC.

Yep, that's right. Three of 'em. One was an alligator; the second, a lizard; the third, an iguana.

The alligator was caught after supposedly hiding under a Datsun in Queens. But that wasn't the whole story. To get the scoop for The Spoof readers, reporter Gail Farrelly headed to the animal shelter where the gator had been taken. She was able to get a one-on-one interview.

The Spoof: Pet Fashion Week in NYC Turns Chaotic, Dogs Protest BY Gail Farrelly

Farrelly_Gail I don't have a dog.  But still, someone has to speak for them.

The Spoof: Yellow Lobster Caught, Why Is It Yellow? BY Gail Farrelly

Farrelly_Gail A fisherman off the coast of Rhode Island was shocked last week when he caught a YELLOW lobster. Wha' happened? Theories abound:

The color was caused by a bad case of hepatitis; the lobster lacks courage and has now officially been labeled a coward; the yellow color had been artificially applied to the lobster, as a marketing gimmick for the forthcoming opening of a chain of Yellow Lobster restaurants; or the lobster had used the Yellow Pages Directory or hung out near a Yellow Submarine one too many times.
