Happy Independence Day - 60 to Israel
יום עצמאות שמח
NEW YORK, NY -- Today I join with all New Yorkers to commemorate and celebrate Yom Ha'atzmaut – the 60th anniversary of the founding of the State of Israel.
Over the past 60 years, the people of New York have shared a special bond with Israel, and now, New York is home to the largest Jewish population of any state in the nation. I am thrilled to share in Israel’s joy during this time of celebration.

GREENBURGH, NY and YONKERS, NY -- Greenburgh
Town Supervisor Paul Feiner and Yonkers City Councilwoman Joan Gronowski are holding their first joint meeting to eliminate Westchester County government Wednesday evening, April 30th at 7:30 PM at the Will Library off of Central Ave and Tuckahoe Road in Yonkers. This is the first planning meeting. Connecticut abolished county government several decades ago. The efficacy of the abolishment of county government in Connecticut is that taxes of residents of Connecticut are less than taxes of residents in New York State.
