“I look forward to the opportunity of addressing the residents of Yonkers and briefing them on the economic, social and educational conditions of their city,” says Mayor Spano. “While we face fiscal challenges this year, I plan to outline ways in which my administration is working with state and city agencies to revitalize our schools, neighborhoods and businesses.”

Mayor Spano also announced today he will host town hall meetings prior to the State of the City as a preview to his annual address. The town hall meetings will be held on Wednesday, March 6 at 7pm at Lincoln High School (375 Kneeland Avenue) and on Tuesday, March 12 at 7pm the Peter Chema Senior Center (435 Riverdale Avenue). The Mayor also will be joined by City department heads in order to best address issues or concerns.

This should be a wonderful story filled with pretty pictures of Unicorns and Butterflies.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I suck. Thank you and good night." What else can he possibly say?

ladies and gentlman i would like to thank you for allowing me to fleece you once again.i have hooked up all the political retards i can and family members alike that could not find actual positions in the workforce.i have pissed on and pissed off the entire unionized work force in the city and now am concentrating on the lesser non unionized counterparts to acheive 100 percent dissatisfaction of all employees.i will further all my causes at you cost you can rest assured..thank you very much god bless you and you wallets

That is like 10 days before the state adopts its budget. Not much time to go and face off with state officials. It will be done by then. Why so late.
I guess he was told by cuomo to come out with the bad news late so no one can react.
Back into the cone of silence till the twentieth?

Good evening, we are in a financial crisis and can't rely on NYS to help us anymore..wink. We all need to share this burden..wink. That's why I'm asking all city dept. heads to find 5% in expenditure reductions..wink. So, we can move our city forward confidently into a new direction..wink.wink.wink.
By the way, look at the recent sales tax figures at record highs. NYS will need all funds for the new $6 billion TPZ bridge......

Maybe he should follow the gag order he is trying to impose on civil servants. He talks BS every time he opens his mouth.

He'll do an Amicone. Everything is wonderful in Yonkers, but we need to raise taxes to pay for all those huge salaries we dole out without ever counting the cost.

Well, now with Saint Nick out of prison, you will see even more bullshit from this garbage family.
