Former New York City Mayor Ed Koch has had his difference with President Obama in the past. In fact Koch was so upset over the administration’s policies on Israel he crossed party lines and endorsed Republican Bob Turner for Congress last year. But now, he’s on much better terms with the president. And in September, he’ll head to Florida to help Obama’s reelection campaign. Koch explains his decision

hang on ! isn't demanding that Hamas recognise Israel and renounce violence (whatever that means) a precondition ? are we having preconditions or not.
Does Israel have to recognise Palestine as well ?
