Strong Passion for Career Creates New Expansion in Yonkers

YONKERS, NY --  July 9,2012-- Many people choose their career paths based on what they have studied in school.   A few people choose to follow what they are passionate about in life.   Denis Murnane followed his passion and wanted to make a difference for his sister who was hard of hearing.   Seeing the difference that he could make in her life made him want to help those in the communities around him.   Denis states it best by saying “I see it every day that people are isolated by their hearing loss, when we fit them with hearing aids they are able to connect with their friends and family again.   I’ve had several people tell me how frustrated they were to talk on the phone to family members because it was difficult to hear and now they enjoy being part of those conversations.   Making this difference in their lives is why I do what I do.”

This passion is also the reason Community Hearing Services, owned by Denis Murnane, is now opening their 5^th location.  Community Hearing Services has been able to expand because their focus is on the customer and providing them with the best solution to their hearing needs.  Word of mouth from their patients has brought in customers outside of their main location.  When they noticed their customers were driving a distance they opened offices closer to meet their needs. Their newest location is next to the Grassy Sprain Pharmacy located on 600 Tuckahoe Road in Yonkers. Denis stated “We love the Yonkers area and felt it would be the perfect place to expand our services.”

Community Hearing Services has other offices in Mount Kisco, Carmel, Danbury and Poughkeepsie.  They provide a variety of hearing care services including hearing screenings, otoscopic ear inspections, hearing instrument fittings, and aural rehabilitation.  Community Hearing Services is also a proud supporter of the Starkey Hearing Foundation because giving back to help others in need is a core value for their business.
