Managing Diabetes By HEZI ARIS
St. John's Riverside Hospital and the American Diabetes Association will conduct an informational presentation to discuss diabetes prevention strategies and best practices for managing one’s diabetes. The Program is entitled: Diabetes and You! What You Need to Know. It will take place Wednesday evening, July 25, 2012, beginning at 6:00 pm and ending at 8:00 pm. It will be held at St. John's Riverside Hospital, 967 North Broadway, Yonkers NY 10701 US
Dr. Lawrence Neshiwat and Joanne Harmon, RD, MS, CDN, BSN, RN, will discuss the medical issues and concerns, Isabelle Edwards, a motivational speaker living with diabetes will share her experiences and how she managed to make adjustments and accommodations that sustain her.

Diabetes can result to other serious conditions so as a diabetic, it is your responsibility to know how to manage diabetes and prevent it from getting worse. One example is by attending this event.
