The only thing certain in life are "death and taxes". The mayor has managed to encompass both in 6 short months. What is the price of a life? It's on your conscience City Council. You can stop this. Sleep well Yonkers...

This is the reason Yonkers needs to get rid of the strong mayor form of government. The City Council are a bunch of mushrooms, they are kept in the dark and fed alot of BS. They are nothing but a rubber stamp for the "mayor's" budget. They have no clue what is in it, they ask no probing questions, and they pretend they matter. This city is screwed. Sorry to say I backed this guy and he is screwing up this city more then Amicone. At least with Amicone, you knew who was making the decisions. Yonkers is now being controlled by Albany and his people, Yes I mean Sue Gerry. She has no connection to Yonkers, doesn't live here, and will be gone after the damage is inflicted. This is her fifth job in 2 years. Screw Yonkers and hope to ride Little Mario junior to Washington in 4 years. Spano = lying politician, I know that is redundant. Council= cowards. Yonkers = screwed again.

The council is a joke, I mean we couldn't find anyone with at least half a brain to be in charge of our districts? This city was absolutely better of with Phil, at least he had smarts. Between the council and the village idiot Yonkers elected for their Mayor, this city is going to keep going backwards. But no wait, he did hire that great independent financial commision! You remember that independent group of Ravitch and Brodsky. So good job Mike, I'm glad you took that big step for this great city and letting us know, in advance that we're screwed. But it's okay, like all Democrats, you could blame it on the Republican who left this you this mess. I mean between you and him this fiscal year you guys were spending money like water and you still ended it with a surplus. Soooooo who do we thank, him or you?
