YONKERS, NY – January 19, 2012 - It is only a few days before the South Carolina Republican Primary is to be decided. A political tsunami is certain to reach political shores after the first tectonic political plate was revealed to be the airing of a ABC Nightline interview of candidate Newt Gingrich’s second wife, Marianne Gingrich, who intends to dredge up an aspect of their past relationship, that of her contention that he wanted an “open marriage,” by which he could have both a wife and a mistress.
The next political plate to shift was the revelation that former Pennsylvania Senator Rich Santorum, rather that losing an 8-point margin to former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney, has instead eclipsed him by 34 votes. Even so, Iowa Republican officials have defined the results to be a tie. It seems eight precincts are still missing certification of their respective voting results. This two weeks after the 1,774 precincts reported.
So far today, the third game changer was the declaration by Governor Rick Perry of his exiting the campaign effort for president and affording his support to former House Speaker New Gingrich
