NEW ROCHELLE, NY – Host Hezi Aris will open the first hour of Westchester On the Level with co-hosts Richard Narog and Hezi Aris on Friday, September 30th, from 10 am to 11 am with a review of the latest news. Michael Rotanelli, a recent candidate vying to represent Yonkers 3rd City Council District will deivulge his future plans during the second hour,that is, from 11 am to 12 Noon.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY – Mike Spano, nominee for mayor of Yonkers (D, C) will open the first hour of Westchester On the Level with co-hosts Richard Narog and Hezi Aris on Thursday, September 29th, from 10 am to 11 am. Stephen Mayor, nominee for for New Rochelle City Council District 6 (R,C, I, L) will be our guest from 11 am to 12 Noon.

 co-hosts Richard Narog and Hezi Aris is heard from Monday to Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon. And Nothing But the Truth – Coast to Coast with co-hosts Frank Vernuccio, Jr., and Larry l. Allsion is heard on Tuesdays, from 2 - 4 p.m., and The Conservative Torch with Carmine Torchetti is scheduled for Thursday nights, from 7 - 9 p.m. The program line-up is part of the Guardian Radio Network, under the direction of the Hezitorial Absurdity of president Hezi Aris.

County Executive Rob Astorino Endorses John Murtagh for Yonkers Mayor

YONKERS, NY -- Calling him "the one, the only real conservative in the race," Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino today endorsed John Murtagh for Mayor of Yonkers.

"John Murtagh is the kind of conservative reformer Yonkers needs," said Astorino, who made the endorsement with Murtagh present at 11:30 AM today at Cook Field on Cook Avenue in Yonkers.

I hope the world is beginning to realize that the late Lanford Wilson was—is—a major playwright, and that his talents vastly exceed the two or three best-known efforts. So it is that the Keen Company is to be congratulated for reviving his 1970 play, “Lemon Sky.”

This relatively early work concerns how Alan (read Lanford), at age 17, left his good mother in Omaha to join his father, Douglas, who abandoned them when Alan was five to live with Ronnie--his mistress, now wife--in San Diego. Alan, now 30, narrates, but periodically steps back into the action as he recalls it, although there are scenes he did not actually witness.

I attended the gathering of United Nations delegates at the New York Public Library held by President Barack Obama and Mrs. Obama.  The New York Public Library is one of the most spectacular public buildings in New York City.  Many of its ornate rooms, rivaling in their own American way, the dazzling gold-finished galleries at Versailles, the residence of Louis XIV outside of Paris, were restored with the personal fortune of Brooke Astor who lived until the age of 105.

I first met Mrs. Astor shortly after I became Mayor in 1978.  A ceremony had been scheduled for the City to honor her contributions to the City’s efforts to get private wealthy charitable people to do what the City was unable to do – spend money on our many deteriorating buildings and in her case, the main library at 42^nd Street, bringing it back to its once preeminent position in the City’s inventory of great public spaces.

Conservative Party Voters Choose Mike Spano in Primary Election Write-in

NYS Assemblyman Mike Spano said, “The bipartisan support voters continue to show for my candidacy is a clear indication that Yonkers residents are tired of the partisan politics that has crippled government on all levels, from here at City Hall to Washington. Yonkers Federation of Teachers Endorses Opponent without Interviewing Michael Meyer UPDATED

YONKERS, NY – The Yonkers Tribune has learned the YFT has endorsed Michael Sabatino, Michael Meyer’s opponent without offering Mr Meyer an interview.

The YFT claims that the endorsement was made after members of the YFT sat in the audience of several community association Candidates’ Nights leading to Primary Election Day, on September 13. 

Based on the answers and statements made at these local candidates’ nights the endorsement was given to Michael Sabatino.

Op-Ed:The State called Palestine By BOB K. BOGEN

Surely most of the world, including most Israelis, believe there will soon be a new formal State called Palestine.

However international law and the United Nations Charter do not provide or permit just any proposed nation to be considered a State in the UN, and certainly not a right to be a UN Member or observer entity with powerful enhanced rights.  In fact there are many dozens of national territories, mostly quite small, that are not yet or may not ever be UN members.
