White Plains Mayor Adam Bradley Steps Down By Nancy King
White Plains, NY -- February 18, 2011 -- "Today is my last day as mayor of White Plains," he said. "I have concluded I can no longer dedicate the necessary time and effort required to serve as mayor in the way the people of White Plains deserve," said White Plains Mayor Adam Bradley whose press conference at 5:00 pm became the venue for his announcement.
White Plains Common Council President Tom Roach will succeed Mr Bradley as mayor. Mr Bradley said he would assist Mr Roach to ensure a smooth transition .
More later...

this was long overdue..bradley was unfit to continue
in the job...you can't allow a convicted criminal
to head a government....and he should have realized
that from the start...all of those surrounding him
and acting as sycophants should understand that the
best course of action for any public official accused
AND CONVICTED of criminal wrongdoing is to exit swiftly
this was handled poorly all the way around from attempting to suggest he would call his own child
to testify to going to trial in the first place...
bradley might have had a chance to salvage his mayoralty if he had stepped up to the plate intitially
because in politics its all about forgiveness and
redemption...but he hired a lawyer and lost big time
forcing the hand of other democratic office holders and leaders.foolish foolish foolish..and predictable
as well

All this buffoon had to do to save his job and his political career was to admit his guilt, say he was sorry, take the consequences and then shut his mouth and move on.
But no- he had to piss, moan and fight, get himself convicted after a trial and constantly blab to the press. Congrats on taking a molehill and single handedly building it into Everest, clown. You are gone, soon to be forgotten and unlikely to be missed.
Bye!
