On May 4th, Yonkers City Councilwoman Joan Gronowski (3rd District) submitted her Resolution to the City Council Rules Committee. Her Resolution required all City of Yonkers unrepresented employees, and all board and commission members who receive City of Yonkers health insurance, to contribute a portion of their premium. This resolution was placed into the City Council Budget Committee. It was reviewed at a special meeting on May 19th. “This analysis you have posted is the same one I sent you right after that meeting. Although Mr. Lucyk's analysis to the mayor was dated April 26th, the City Council was not handed this document until the morning of our May 19th meeting,” noted Councilwoman Gronowski “hardly enough time to review and respond to a ten-page document on the morning of a meeting which was announced in advance.”
