Yonkers Police Department Blotter - September 22, 2009 By Detective Sergeant Patrick McCormack

Yonkers, NY -- On 09-22-09 at approximately 02:02 a.m., 4th Precinct officers responded to 710 Warburton Avenue on a report of a motor vehicle accident.  Responding officers located a male in an apparently intoxicated state inside of a vehicle which had struck 12 parked and unoccupied vehicles on Warburton Avenue.   No injuries were reported.  Police Officers Laurine Williams and Moise Vargas of the 4th Precinct placed the male under arrest at the scene, and he was transported to the City Jail where a breathalyzer examination was administered. 
Jose H. Fuentes, a 46 year old male of 18 Ridge Street in Hastings-on-Hudson was arrested and charged with Aggravated D.W.I. He is scheduled to appear in Yonkers City Court on 10-09-09.

 Also on 09-22-09 at approximately 11:46 a.m., members of the City of Mount Vernon Police Department requested assistance from the City of Yonkers Police Department in locating a possible suspect who was observed in the area of 316 Warburton Avenue.  Members of the 4th Precinct, the Emergency Services Unit, K-9 unit, and the Detective Division assisted in the search for the suspect.  A male suspect was subsequently taken into custody and was turned over to the City of Mount Vernon Police Department at the scene.  Any further inquires should be directed to the City of Mount Vernon Police Department.
