Yonkers, NY -- On 09/25/09 at approximately 10:00p.m., members of the 3rd Precinct Anti-Crime plainclothes unit developed information that four males were attempting to break into vehicles in the area of Prescott Street. Anti-Crime Officers Dennis Molina, Christopher Colon, Alex Della Donna, Felix Rios, and Dennis Mullin located the individuals and began a surveillance of these males. With the assistance of uniformed officers, the males were stopped at the corner of Prescott Street and Garfield Street. Upon the approach of the officers, one of the suspects (later identified as Rodriguez-Santell, Jose) dropped a clear plastic bag containing alleged crack cocaine (approximately 20 grams, with a street value of approximately $600) to the ground. A second male (later identified as Perez, Jose M.) admitted to having contraband on his person and he was also found to be in possession of cocaine. Both males were placed into custody without incident.

Jose M. Perez, (wearing gold colored T-shirt) a 23 year old male who resides at 70 Ash Street was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th.
