YONKERS, NY -- January 19, 2007 -- Yonkers Police Department arrested Justin Degree on January 18, 2007. The 18-years old male residing at 70 Hawthorne
Avenue, Apt C101, was arrested for the shooting of
Kasheem Little. This shooting took place January 11, 2007, at 6:55 pm in front
of 79 Riverdale Avenue.
Degree responded to the detective division with family members because he heard the Yonkers Police were looking for him. He was interviewed and charged with Attempted Murder 2nd and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd degree. He will be arraigned today, January 19, 2007, in Yonkers Criminal Court.
Little is still hospitalized for his injuries but is listed as stable
at this time.

At 12:45 am this morning, January 19, 2007,
P.O. Michael Koch heard what sounded like gun shots and saw what appeared
to be gun muzzle flashes coming from a black Yukon Suburban vehicle
traveling north of Central Park Avenue and Yonkers Avenue. The officer
radioed for back up and performed a traffic stop at the
entrance to the Cross County Parkway. Six people were in the vehicle,
all were released except for the driver of the vehicle when he admitted that
he fired the weapon and that he owns the gun. The
firearm recovered from under the passenger front seat was a silver and
black blank firing Kimar gun. Model 92, an .8 mm caliber. The firearm
is only capable of firing blank cartridges.
Steven Antonucci of 33 Creaville Lane Yonkers N.Y. was arrested for Yonkers City Ordinance Violation 74-7, Possession of an Imitation or Inoperable Gun. He was given an appearance ticket for January 25, 2007, to respond to Yonkers Criminal Court.

On January 18, 2007, at
6:17 pm, at 86 High Street, a 16 year old female stabbed her
step-father with a knife and a screwdriver. The occurrence took place
when a verbal argument escalated into a physical fight. Diana Oliver
stabbed her step-father in the hand and left cheek with a knife; then
grabbed a screwdriver, and stabbed him in the chest three times.
Oliver was booked for Assault 2nd
degree and will be arraigned in Yonkers Criminal Court on January 19, 2007.
The victim was transported to a local hospital and was treated for non life threatening injuries.
WhY was snowplough #147 parked for over 30 minutes with its engine running and no one in the truck on West Pondfield road between 8:35 and 9:02 this morning. NO ONE IN THE TRUCK ANY IDEADS?
